Summary:
The Business Intelligence Developer Clarity develops and maintains reports that meet operational requirements in one or more functional areas.
Responsibilities:
1.
Uses knowledge of Crystal Reports and the Epic Clarity database to develop and maintain reports that meet operational requirements in one or more functional areas.
2.
Deploys Epic's Epic-Crystal reports using Children's standard template.
3.
Performs report testing and validation using basic technical and analytical skills.
4.
Assists in report maintenance required for upgrades.
5.
Demonstrates analytical and problem solving capabilities6.
Demonstrates report development expertise7.
Demonstrates organizational skills and responsiveness8.
Maintains appropriate education9.
Other duties as requiredOther information:
Technical Expertise1.
Experience with Business Objects' Crystal Reports is required.
2.
Experience with Epic's Clarity data model is preferred3.
Experience with analysis and problem solving is required4.
Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
5.
Experience in healthcare is preferred.
6.
Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word or similar software is required.
Education and Experience1.
Education:
Associate's degree is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
2.
Certification:
Additional certification and attendance at user group and advisory council meetings is required.
Epic certified in at least 1 Epic application is preferred.
3.
Years of relevant
Experience:
5 to 7 years is preferred.
4.
Years of experience supervising:
None.
